I enjoy being part of a music/film community. I have spent time in the last 2-3 years on 3 (+ this one):

1. Ice/Imwan: It's basically a shill for Amazon, most of the posts could be more.......intelligent

2. Hoffman: IMO, their mediators are very authoritarian. Posts are frequently removed without warning when nothing inappropriate was said. You may have noticed I moderated this list with a pretty soft touch. I believe in freedom of speech.

3. DVD Talk: I still like that board, but it's lost the majority of it's members

4. This list, which I consider pretty much dead.

If you have any suggestions, I'd really like to hear them. I'd like to find a quality music/film board that allows LIGHT political talk (when I grew up music & progressive politics were linked), & has intelligent posts where hopefully I can learn more about this hobby, & it would also be nice if they were into high sound quality.
