* Neil Young - Greendale (CD & DVD) - While quite sloppy (this is Neil Young after all!), this is one of the most powerful musical environmental statements, ever From my experience, if you want to "get" this, it requires several listens & some thought; but it's well worth it If this cd & the companion film had gotten significant publicity, they would have likely had a huge impact on the environmental movement There are 2 different versions of the limited edition dvd that comes with the cd (there's also a complete movie sold separately); this 2nd edition comes with a long form music video taken from rehearsals & recording which also helps explain the story The dvd has a lossy hi res DTS 96/24 5 0 option There is no lossless option though oddly this has a different cover & catalog # than the one I own Reprise 48699 $7 99
