Before getting to highlights, I want to share our plans for the holidays with you:
In 7-10 days, we'll be sending you our complete list of holiday cd's & dvd's If you'd like to get a jump on that, it's up on our website now at http://www dandylionrecords com/holiday_cds htm I am keeping it current
Sometime between late November - early December we'll be sending you a long list of cd's & dvd's suitable for gifts I don't know yet exactly which of our titles will be included, but it will be a comprehensive list with gifts for your entire family It's also possible that there could be another regular newsletter before Christmas, it totally depends on what our wholesale suppliers offer between now & then
And like always, as we get near to Christmas (early mid December) we will plan on shipping on a daily basis to get your gifts to you in a timely manner
Here's a combination of good & bad news: My understanding is that there will likely be no increase in first class (& hopefully media) mail rates for 2010 There is supposed to be an increase in international postage & domestic priority mail postage in January I don't know how large of an increase it's going to be If possible, we'll try to absorb the international increase, but I will likely be able to let you know on our next mailing

Featured Sale CD * Sarah Masen - Carry Us Through (Sealed) - This great cd, along with the rest of her catalog is out of print While I'm not normally into religious music, I've totally fallen for Sarah's music Stylistically, she's a fit with Lillith Fair - if you like Sarah McLachlan, Shawn Colvin, Suzanne Vega, Sheryl Crow & Natalie Merchant (& don't mind references to God) you will probably like this This one is less pop/rock then the other 2, & almost shows a jazz influence in places Reminds me a bit of Alanis The story I read on this is that Sarah & ace Christian producer Charlie Peacock had different ideas on how they wanted to do this one; the compromise was a very lightly produced straight ahead sounding cd Rethink 51632 Was $6 99, This week $3 50 (4)
