I enjoy being part of a music/film community. I have spent time in the last 2-3 years on 3 (+ this one): 1. Ice/Imwan: It's basically a shill for Amazon, most of the posts could be more.......intelligent 2. Hoffman: IMO, their mediators are very authoritarian. Posts are frequently removed without warning when nothing inappropriate was said. You may have noticed I moderated this list with a pretty soft touch. I believe in freedom of speech. 3. I have a question for you: 1 thing I think all Dandylion Subscribers have in common is a passion for film & in some cases music. I have been on 2 internet music boards & have had issue with the moderation on both. With a bit of work, I can potentially add a moderated interactive discussion list to this email program. It would be more primitive then the big boards, but it would be ours. (No worries, only subscribers who want to be on the list would get the messages).
